Support for Parents

Navigating parenthood, especially while supporting a neurodivergent child or managing your own mental health, can feel overwhelming. I provide affirming, judgment-free support for parents and caregivers. Whether you’re seeking guidance on advocating for your child, managing daily stressors, or understanding developmental and emotional challenges, therapy with me is a collaborative space where your needs are centered. Together, we can explore ways to nurture both your child’s growth and your own well-being.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy

I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming care that respects and celebrates the full range of neurodevelopmental experiences. My therapy approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I work collaboratively to understand how your environment, sensory needs, identity, and strengths shape your lived experience. Additionally, I conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and provide detailed reports that honor the individual’s lived experience.

My Philosophy

I believe that therapy should be fun, safe, and intersectional. Healing isn’t just about managing symptoms; it’s about feeling seen, empowered, and connected. I ground my work in liberation psychology and intersectional feminism, which means we explore how systems of oppression (like racism, colonialism, ableism, and heteronormativity) affect mental health. Therapy is relational, culturally grounded, and focused on the whole person. I invite conversations about identity, power, generational narratives, and social context because these all shape how we live, love, and thrive. Therapy is also a space to celebrate joy, resistance, and authenticity.

Social Justice and Advocacy

I hope to help destigmatize mental health, and I approach my work through the lens of intersectional feminism and liberation psychology to create an inclusive and empowering environment. Liberation psychology emphasizes that gaining knowledge and critical consciousness does not need to be an isolated process. I believe that therapy is a place where you talk about the first-generation experience, racism, prejudice, power, and oppression – as these topics also significantly impact Latine and BIPOC mental health. Also, I complete neuropsychological assessment batteries and comprehensive report writing through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and liberatory-focused lens, ensuring each child and young adult is seen within the full context of their lived experience.
