"Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are." ~ Brene Brown
Sometimes we find ourselves in the midst of difficult or transitional spaces. Sometimes, we may find ourselves in a stuck place – or feeling off – or feeling not enough. Wherever you may find yourself, together we can be curious and take a deep look into what may be occurring under the surface – using compassion to gain a further understanding or a different perspective. I approach therapy with an open attitude and place immense value in building a safe, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I use a relational, attachment based, and trauma-informed lens in my approach to therapy while incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I also approach my work with clients by looking at the whole person, keeping in mind the needs of mind, soul, body, and spirit.
I offer therapy in English and Spanish. I provide culturally sensitive individual therapy for all ages. I am particularly interested in providing support to those navigating anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, cultural identity and trauma, self-worth, attachment, and relational issues.
I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate healing and developing a better understanding of their inner selves. I am passionate about helping my clients further understand their stories and the different patterns that may be hindering or affecting how they connect with others or how they view themselves.
