Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 141737)
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” ~ Winston Churchill
You have a story, and I want to hear it! I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives, and I approach my work with a spirit of collaboration. I strive to highlight and celebrate my clients’ strengths and provide tools and support for areas of growth. My treatment strategies are multifaceted, incorporating mindfulness, body work, and cognitive approaches. By using a multicultural and trauma-focused lens, I help individuals find solutions within the specific context of their lives and experiences. These approaches allow me to help clients develop awareness, coping skills, and new ideas about the ways they want to live.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, and my Bachelor’s degree in English from Wellesley College. I previously worked with individuals and families in community mental health and am part of the DBT team here. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, mindfulness, trauma and resilience and LGBTQ-affirming therapy.
