A Gentle Journey: a three-part series of gentle yoga, mindful meditation, journaling, and community building

Explore ways to navigate stress by bringing greater kindness to yourself and your body in a compassionate circle of community.

A Gentle Journey is designed to cultivate greater self compassion, awareness of our inner wisdom, and connection to the body, mind and community to foster wellness and thriving. We’re honored to partner with Yoga House and certified Yoga House teacher Peggy Burt.

Participants will:

  • Learn movement practices from the mindfulness and yogic traditions to create greater ease in the body and mind.
  • Experience a mindful practice called RAIN: Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture.
  • Cultivate greater ease and compassion through relaxation, stretching and breath awareness.

Share and hold space for each other in community, along with an invitation to journal with gentle prompts to open awareness.

What ages is this designed for? Peggy is a master at teaching multi-generational classes. This class is geared towards mature tweens through adults. If your 12-15 year old would like to attend, consider joining them for a parent/kin/child experience. Teens (and adults!) are welcome to attend on their own or with a friend, of course.
