We believe in the power of connection to truly thrive.
We facilitate connection in-person and online through:
The journey after an autism diagnosis can bring a mix of emotions and questions for parents, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Foundations First is a four-session parent education series designed to provide guidance, understanding, and connection for families whose children have received an autism diagnosis any time within the past three years.
This short-term, psychoeducational group helps parents gain a clear understanding of what autism is—and what it is not—while offering information on current approaches for supporting autistic children. Rather than focusing on changing or “fixing” autism, this series is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming approach that helps parents understand their child’s unique needs, perceptions, and experiences. By increasing understanding and connection, parents will learn strategies to foster growth, resilience, and stronger relationships with their child.
Grounded in developmental and relational principles, Foundations First emphasizes the importance of relationships in supporting autistic children. In addition to actionable tools and strategies, it provides an opportunity to build meaningful connections with other parents on similar journeys. By the end of the series, parents will feel informed, empowered, and ready to support their child in a way that celebrates their individuality and affirms their neurodiversity.
